MAÎTRE
Cookie Policy
Effective date: 29 July 2026
MAÎTRE | COOKIE POLICY
1. About this Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how K.I.A.B Investment Management Consulting Ltd, operating under the MAÎTRE trading name, uses cookies and similar technologies on maitre.world.
It should be read together with the MAÎTRE Privacy Policy.
This Policy describes the technologies currently intended for the Website and will be updated if the Website configuration changes.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files or similar identifiers stored on, or accessed from, a browser or device when a website is visited. Similar technologies may include local storage, pixels, tags, scripts and software-development-kit identifiers.
Cookies may be set by the Website itself (“first-party cookies”) or by another organisation whose service is used on the Website (“third-party cookies”). They may last only for the browsing session or remain for a defined period.
3. How we use cookies
We aim to use the minimum cookies reasonably required to operate and protect the Website.
Cookies and similar technologies may be used to:
- operate essential Website functions;
- maintain security and prevent abuse;
- remember cookie-consent choices;
- support enquiry-form functionality;
- measure aggregated Website use and performance, where consent has been given; and
- support embedded third-party content or marketing functionality, where separately disclosed and consented to.
4. Cookie categories
4.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are necessary for the Website or a service explicitly requested by the user to function. They may support security, load balancing, form submission, session management or storage of consent preferences.
Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent where the applicable legal exemption applies, but they should still be described transparently.
4.2 Analytics and performance cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors use the Website, for example which pages are visited and whether technical errors occur.
Analytics cookies will be activated only after consent where required. Where reasonably possible, we prefer privacy-respecting configurations, limited retention and reduced data collection.
4.3 Functional cookies
These cookies remember optional preferences or enable enhanced functionality, such as embedded tools, language preferences or communication widgets. They may be set by us or by a third party.
Where they are not strictly necessary, they will be used only after consent.
4.4 Advertising or targeting cookies
These cookies may build a profile of interests, measure campaigns or show relevant advertising across websites.
Advertising or targeting technologies are not currently confirmed. If Meta Pixel, Google Ads tracking or another advertising technology is introduced, this Policy and the cookie settings will be updated before it is activated, and consent will be obtained where required.
5. Consent and cookie settings
When required by law, non-essential cookies and similar technologies are not activated unless and until the user gives a valid choice through the cookie banner or preference centre.
The Website provides accessible options to accept or reject non-essential cookies and does not use pre-selected non-essential categories.
Consent may be withdrawn or changed at any time through the “Cookie Settings” link displayed on the Website. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
The Website may record the consent choice for a reasonable period so that preferences can be respected and demonstrated.
6. Current cookie schedule
The cookies below may be used on the Website. Exact names and durations may vary if the Website configuration or Google settings change.
| Cookie / technology | Provider | Purpose | Category | Typical duration | Legal basis |

| Security or form-protection cookie | MAÎTRE / technical provider | Protects the Website and enquiry form against abuse | Strictly necessary | Session or limited period | Strictly necessary |
| Meta Pixel / Google Ads cookies, if introduced | Meta / Google | Measures advertising performance or supports remarketing | Advertising | As specified by the relevant provider | Consent |
| Embedded map cookies, if introduced | Map provider | Displays an interactive map and related functionality | Functional | As specified by the relevant provider | Consent |
7. Third-party services
The Website uses Google Analytics and may contain external links to WhatsApp and Telegram. It may also use an embedded map or advertising measurement tools in the future. Optional third-party technologies will be blocked until the relevant consent is obtained where required.
Google and any other enabled third-party provider may process data under its own privacy terms. WhatsApp and Telegram links take the visitor to external platforms; those platforms control their own processing after the link is opened.
Optional third-party features should be blocked until the relevant consent has been obtained where required.
8. Browser controls
Most browsers allow users to view, delete or block cookies. Browser settings may also allow users to block third-party cookies or clear data when the browser closes.
Blocking all cookies may prevent essential Website functions, forms or preference controls from working correctly.
Browser controls are separate from the Website’s Cookie Settings. Where consent has already been given, users should also withdraw it through Cookie Settings so that the Website records the updated choice.
9. Do Not Track and similar signals
Browser-based privacy signals are not implemented consistently across the industry. Where technically and legally appropriate, we may recognise supported consent or opt-out signals. The Website’s Cookie Settings remain the primary method for managing Website cookie preferences.
10. Retention
Each persistent cookie should have a defined duration proportionate to its purpose. Consent records may be retained for the period reasonably necessary to demonstrate and respect the user’s choice.
We aim to avoid unnecessary or indefinite cookies and review the technologies used on the Website periodically.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when the Website, cookie providers, purposes or legal requirements change. The current version will be published with its effective date.
The cookie schedule will be reviewed when new analytics, advertising, map, communication or other technologies are added.
12. Contact
Questions about cookies or privacy may be sent to info@maitre.world.
